Very early in the morning at 7 am, as per the Kenyan time, the Paralympics powerlifting kicked off. Today marked the third day of the Tokyo Paralympics.
Hellen Wawira, 29 years of age is the first Kenyan to participate. She emerged fifth during the women’s powerlifting competitions as she hit the 93kg mark during her third attempt.
